Dear Parishioners & Friends,
Praise God from whom all blessings flow. When we sing this joyous phrase, it reminds us of just how loved and indeed BLESSED we are. Thanks be to God for this day, this parish and the love we have for one another and our greater community.
In May of 2016, the vestry held an all-parish meeting with Jerry Campbell from the Episcopal Church Foundation to learn what was on your hearts and minds about the future of St. Francis. The purpose was to engage and reflect with one another on how to further our mission in Christ during the next 75 years. One of the main takeaways was a genuine interest in the renovation of the church and the parish hall. The vestry prayerfully considered your input and we all participated in a feasibility study to determine the will of the parish to support a capital campaign to raise funds for parish renovations. Based on your responses, the vestry revised some of their original plans to be consistent with your interests. Today, we are faced with an AMAZING opportunity to move forward and fulfill your wishes, through The Next 75 Years capital campaign.
We are genuinely excited to see where our faith takes us and we continue to be inspired by your commitment to the ministries and outreach at St. Francis. We are also thankful for your recognition of the resources it takes to further our mission.
Yours in Christ,
Kelly Castellon & Joe Head
