Dear Parishioners and Friends:
You are invited to be part of an historic moment in the life of our beloved church home. The beautiful buildings that enhance our worship and life as a community of faith are in need of improvement to make our use of energy more efficient and allow us to redeploy significant resources to expand our ministries—resources that are currently spent on repairs each year. Through your participation, we will enable Trinity to be ready for a future of expanded ministry.
The last campaign Trinity conducted was 25 years ago. That effort prepared our sanctuary for the installation of the J. W. Walker pipe organ in time for the Centennial Celebration in 1993. We will soon celebrate the 125th year of Trinity Parish in 2018, at which time we want to have made improvements to our physical plant that reflect our stewardship of this sacred place.
The primary goal of the Campaign is $1,000,000 to replace the air conditioning and supporting electrical system in the Education building. The new HVAC system is planned to be a zoned design that will have significant energy savings over the current single-pipe, water circulating system that heats or cools the entire building regardless of how much is occupied. A challenge goal of $250,000 has been issued to also renovate the kitchen and bathrooms in the Parish Hall and Education building. While these goals are less than originally discussed, they are realistic for our congregation’s size and resources.
Will you join us in making a generous gift toward the renewal of our building infrastructure? We need every parish family to participate through over-and-above giving to reach our goals and demonstrate our love for Trinity.
