Beloved,
One hundred and seventy years ago, the people of St. John’s Church moved into the neighborhood of Olde Towne Portsmouth. Five decades later, they began constructing the sacred spaces which are now in critical need of repair.

Embracing the Future is our opportunity to continue their legacy and vision. Roof issues may have led us here, but it is what goes on under this roof in the name of Jesus Christ that changes lives and transforms our neighborhood.

God has presented our generation with a unique opportunity that will impact the City of Portsmouth both now and for generations to come. Whether you are a current parishioner or friend, one of the many “alumni” of this parish around the globe, or a vital community partner in Portsmouth and beyond, I invite you to join me and my family in making a prayerful, generous gift to this campaign.
