The Need

THE VISION

Our current physical campus cannot sustain continued growth. Our parking lot is too small, our restroom facilities are not accessible, and we do not have adequate space for our many ministries and programs. The current worship space and parish hall was always intended to be a temporary space. As our main building continues to go without major renovation, costly short-term repairs will continue to hamper our ministries.

The vision for Phase 1 of our master plan will include:

• A new worship space ($2,978,900)
• 156 total parking spaces and infrastructural site work ($401,200)

The total cost of Phase 1 will be $3,380,100.

Three major financial components will come together to accomplish the vision God has for Holy Comforter.

First, our Growing in God’s Grace capital campaign has a primary goal of $785,000 and a challenge goal of $1 million. By raising more, we reduce the amount of financing ultimately required.

Second, because of our rapid growth, stable leadership, and healthy track-record, the Episcopal Diocese of Texas is a committed financial partner in this project.

Finally, we will finance the remaining portion of this initial phase of the master plan through prudent borrowing.
