Welcome

My Dear Friends,

It was clear when I arrived at Saint Ignatius of Antioch that I was entering a community that held at its core two values: tradition and inclusion. Each value is dependent upon the other. Our tradition lives because its message is that of the Gospel, the good news that Jesus Christ has come into the world to inaugurate the Kingdom of God in which all are to be included.

Welcoming all people to participate at all levels, we celebrate the sacraments with vibrant, beautiful liturgy and music that reflect our Anglo-Catholic heritage. We continue to maintain our historic, gothic revival church building to be a community that serves as a beacon to a world looking to find beauty and meaning in life in and through the worship and service of the God who loves us all.

In this moment and to ensure our future, we are asking you to support this work and witness with a significant gift from your treasure. What we do with our treasure shows the world what we value. In these days of the unfolding Kingdom, we are called to use our possessions to give alms—as Jesus puts it—in a way that really makes a difference. Our choices, our alms, and our labor become vehicles for the spread of the Kingdom.

When we do this, we will not only be aligning ourselves with God's purpose, but also serving as signs to others that this God-oriented, Kingdom-oriented life is possible, achievable, and meaningful. When we show the world where we have placed our treasure, then the world will know that our hearts lie with Our Lord in the service of the Kingdom of God, which has been given to us, which is near, and which brings love and reconciliation into the world.

Campaign Prayer

ALMIGHTY GOD, who hast promised to hear the petitions of those who ask in thy Son's Name: We beseech thee mercifully to incline thine ear to us who have now made our prayers and supplications unto thee; and grant that those things which we have faithfully asked according to thy will, may effectually be obtained, to the relief of our necessity, and to the setting forth of thy glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
